In America, burgers and fries are enough to keep revenues high, while in other markets items such as noodles, shrimp, and curry are utilized to fit in to the vastly different markets in which they operate. If two-thirds of their revenues are coming from overseas, this proves to be a successful strategy despite the perceived ignorance of Americans that they are only known for burgers and fries. Also, some markets are wealthier than others, thus able to acquire more clothing to buy or sell than others. Apparel companies need to consider these factors when conducting business internationally. They need to be aware of the trends of the markets they operate in to strategically provide these markets with the desired apparel, thus leading to greater revenues.
